Weds 12th Sept: Morning Marauders on NTS Live
Yesterday I got to visit one of my favourite radio stations - NTS. Mashmello invited me in to join her morning show to discuss my upcoming collaboration with TWOINCHPUNCH as part of my presence at fashion week from the support of Red Bull Catwalk Studios. I took in some records to play for her "something old, new, borrowed and blue" feature which included a rainbow 7" I acquired from my mum which must have influenced me somewhere along the lines! I also took "Pin Ups" from my Bowie collection to demonstrate the pairing of fashion and music in history via this iconic cover of David and Twiggy.
If you don't already have NTS radio on your radar then head over to their site for a listen and scroll and thru the history of podcasts from London's finest dj's and music makers.

Mon Sept 10th: "In It To Win It" by Andy MacGregor at The Book Club
To coincide with the Olympic Games in London this summer, Andy MacGregor lent his super power sport of paper sculpture to the exhibition "In It To Win It" at The Book Club. Giant cardboard swimmers fill the ceiling with a gigantic shuttle cock, darts board and different sports theme slogans in 3D hand crafted mobiles and wall hangings fill the Shoreditch space. Head to the cafe to unwind from the events and soak up a last burst of athlete inspired vibes before the come down and fallout of the closing ceremony of the Paralympics. Andy has also scalpel-ed his way thru some paper-cut collages which are framed and ready for purchase as a memento of the historic event.
Head over to Andy's newly re-furbished slideshow holding page on his website whilst it is under refurbishment to check out his incredibly deft and indefeatable set design skills. Meanwhile, keep up to date with future projects on his Tumblr and Twitter.
