Friday 30th September: "It's A London Thing" book launch at Converse

Thanks so much to Converse for supporting my book launch with their space to hold an exhibition and party.  Tara Darby's portraits of the book's contributors hung on the walls and luckily for me a few performed on the night.......... thanks to James Massiah and Charlie Dark for DJ'ing and Zezi Ifore for not only spinning tunes but also hosting a Q&A.  Im so grateful for the lush turn-out of friends who came together to see the book & gallery, catch up, dance and raise a toast to my project for Prestel.

Wednesday 28th September: LDF Passport Booth at The V&A Museum

Wednesday 28th September: LDF - Patternity at The Ace Hotel

Whilst navigating our way around London to find the Design Festival trail across North, East, West and South we scrambled up an "Ascension" bouldering wall at Ace Hotel!  Patternity designed a gradient pattern for the new installation in the gym which will become a permanent fixture for guests after the event.  The hand-painted hues across the handles and foot-holds celebrate the power of patience and perseverance as part of  Ace's "Ready Made Go 2" project.  It was much tougher than it probably looks here!  I almost had to give up and jump off!  Great fun!
