Yesterday AGI & SAM launched their first capsule collection for Top Man "The Owls" which features their very own version of a football shirt which I LOVED so much I put it on AnOther LOVES (see sidebar). In perfect timing there is a new exhibition of highly patterned football shirts opened at their local east end SPACE galleries. Artist Rhys Coren has curated the show combining his personal fascination LOVES of acid house era physcadelia and concurrent cosmic late 80's / early 90's British football kits. When compiling the Boilleroom FC website this topic came up in articles and now culminated in an actual gallery show of original shirts, fanzines and his digital installations based on the crossover culture.........
