For any Mapplethorpe fans in London you must make a visit to Alison Jacques Gallery in town to see an exhibition of his fashion photography AND JEWELRY! I never thought I would get the chance to see his pieces up close and in person (albeit behind glass in a display cabinet). Its very exciting to be able to see all of these magnificent moments together under one roof. I have snapped just a few as a taster to share here as indication of what to expect...........
