Tuesday 28th August: Carnival Hair by Tracy Hayes and Charz Couture

Ready for de road!  Maximum colours mixed for Notting Hill Carnival.  Thanks again to Tracy Hayes, the cosmic colour mixologist at Fudge Hair using "Paintbox" dyes for my fresh Rainbow hair.  You can see here how she sectioned a spectrum swirl to then dye a gradient with five different shades across the rainbow.  These layers were then given full visibility when Charz Couture plaited four separate braids to reveal the ombre tones and finished it off with a sprinkle of glitter for shimmer.  This is most definitely the best hairstyle I have ever had.  I couldn't be happier on the best weekend of the year to have the most intergalactic hair to enjoy it!  Incredible!

Saturday 9th June: "Get Braided" by Charz Couture

My new fresh colour was made one hundred percent more cosmic by the deft and perfectionist skills of hair stylist Charz Couture.  Char has previously braided my hair in two dutch braids so this time she went even more intricate dividing my spectrum into four plaints.  My soft fine baby hairs were all neatly pulled in line and swept into the separate sections which revealed the layers and stripes of my colour.  I managed to keep it neat for a couple of weeks thanks to a hair-net over night and maximised the opportunity.  I got so much positive feedback from strangers stopping me to compliment me on the braids.  I felt like a million dollars, I wish I could keep this forever!

Saturday 9th June: Fudge Paintbox

My latest hair dye design by Tracy Hayes at Fudge is this pink tint with a hidden horizontal spectrum stripe.  Over time the pop brights will fade and the soft shades will meld into a smooth gradient.  I enjoy every single stage of these crazy colour-ways!

Monday 4th June: Fudge Rainbowave

The work in progress of the process in mixing Fudge Paintbox hair dyes............

When Tracy Hayes took inspiration from the dichroic perspex in my exhibition and coloured my hair with the same iridescent hues.  These sections of yellow, pink and blue shimmered exactly how the opalescent glass glints and reflects in light.  It matched perfectly for all the events and press shots that were done in the space - totally cosmic as always!

Wednesday 28th June: Paintbox Hair Dyes at Fudge

Here is my latest rainbow wave hair thanks to Tracy Hayes at Fudge using their Paintbox hair dyes.  We are creating a hidden spectrum under my blonde so I have a blank canvas to start afresh each time.  The colour is revealed when I wear it up as you can see in the still from my "Bun Drop" movie clip above.  Head over to my Running Rainbow blog for how it looked braided from my weekend at Be:FIT Festival here.
