Mon 14th April: "The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk" at The Barbican

This is an epic amount of photos for one post, but it's a reflection of just how fantastic and massive this Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition is! There are so many outfits on show but doesn't feel over-crowded or too much.  It's a joy for anyone interested in textile manipulation and surface pattern.  Technique is so strong in every piece with no two looks overlapping.  I highly recommend visitors in London to check out this immense showcase that celebrates the ginormous body of work from the designer famed for his corsetry and couture.

Sunday 6th April: Berlin Half Marathon

Last weekend I went to Berlin to run the half marathon with RunDemCrew for the 2nd year anniversary of the international running get-together "Bridge The Gap".  It coincided with my birthday so the infamous after-party was the perfect place to celebrate!!!  I also got a surprise present delivered from NIKE Free 5.0 ahead of its general release .............. more of which will follow in subsequent posts.............
Congratulations Charlie Dark and the other leaders from the worldwide running groups who joined forces to invent this extended global family .............. inc. Berlin Braves, Bridge Runners, Patta, NBRO, Paris Running  ...........

(Photos all by me except a couple from Teo Connor & Alex Cunningham)

Sunday 6 April: Josephine Chime 'Textured to Touch' at Mother @ The Trampery London

A few images taken from Josephine Chime's latest cross-disapline exhibition in London. Josephine's work explores the narcissism of online self branding and the pursuit of physical perfection through photography, collage and sculpture.

The show runs until the 2nd May at Mother at The Trampery, EC1V 4JY
