Becki and I had a cultural excursion (distraction) for lunch and went to see some of Matthew Barney's work down the road. Can't wait to go and see the main exhibition at The Serpintine next week.............

Last night I went to see my friends paintings which I like very much............prints onto sheets of brown card .................derived from colour keys and turned into a new landscape..........very smart...........

Artists Statement:
Over the past year i've collected the print registration symbols and colour checks that are trimmed from the edges of commercially printed pictures or hidden within the underside of packaging. These symbols enable the correct reproduction of images. These functional devices become a point of departure for something comparatively separate and self-justifying.

I had a visit from Patrick Wolf to borrow some pieces to take on his North American Tour.......................we filled a box with goodies for him to try out.............I only read after that he likes Peacocks..............so next time he might like to have this piece from my archive..............

Teo took me to this new Bar in Shoerditch............called "The Colour Rooms"................the bank of sofas are set out in a plan so that the leather upholstery makes a rainbow from one end to the other....................for anyone that knows me............this is heaven.........
