Thursday 16th October: Frieze Art Fair - First Glance

Frieze was a real relief and joy this year in a return to colour and fun themes spliced by interventions of live performance and interactive works such as this Carston Holler dice with the holes as slides for children.  A visitor snapped me standing in this spectrum space which was amazing timing as my sleeves were corresponding colours to the walls and were pulled up to the exact length of the line?!.... and my washed out hair was the same pastel hue ...?!
I have visited the Fair for just one day so far and now need to return for a closer look after this initial overview.  It is so brimming with visual stimulus that it's an exhausting experience without much physical movement!
Here are some of my faves including:  Gary Hume at White Cube , Laura Bartlett Gallery,  Performance by Nick Mauss,  Olaf Eliasson at Tanya Bonakder Gallery, Carsten Holler at Gagosian,  Spectrum carpet at Lisson Gallery)
