Here is the reason that my life has become run-centric of recent times .............. Teo Connor. She introduced me to the game-changing experience of discovering the untapped skill of speed in your feet and the family tree of RunDemCrew. I never knew I could run further than the bus stop and now I'm running all over the world, finally getting the chance to check out and check off cities I might not have ever had the opportunity to see. For the latest race, Teo brought it home and signed up to tap up the 26 miles around the town she grew up in and join the masses for the London Marathon. She's been training like a trooper thru the grey cold winter ........... and the scorchio hot holiday we had in Mexico ........... and emerged ready for the final challenge in this optimistic stage of Spring. Well, not only did she raise £1825 for Refuge but also completed the course in an unearthly time of 4hr11 mins (that's fucking fast to those that aren't familiar with times). We awaited her fresh face at Mile 21 where the RDC confetti canons clocked her arrival and she jumped around like a new puppy you've just come home to. The crew clapped a deafening peal and Rosy patted her peachy bum to push her into the remaining five mile feat. As you can see from her photos, she's been a grinning Cheshire Cat from start line to finish and made the whole endurance test look so appealing we are thinking of signing up next year : / ...............
