Thurs 18th April: Pick Me Up 2013

Its that time of year again, for London's Graphic Arts Festival "Pick Me Up 2013including work by selected artists such as  Anna Lomax, Rob Flowers, Hattie Stewart whose work I have snapped here.  Above are also various shots of the mixed galleries of collectives who have their own installation spaces with scheduled events for the public to experience live illustration / screen-printing / t-shirt making / temporary tattoo art etc.  Specifically here are images from the Print Club London room which I am involved in this year with an edition of 40 one-off vinyl collage customised screen prints.  Each artwork in the scheme has been tessellated in a repeat on wallpaper which lines the divisions of the space and acts as one giant colouring-in book.  Anyone can come in and add to the growing colour cosmos and also print their own to take away or buy the original.  Check out the listings to see which day of the festival will be headed up by different artists taking turns to be on hand to help with the customisation .............. such as Margot Bowman, who's water colour print hangs next to mine........... also see here Pure Evil, present at the private view signing his editions.........
