Well, I'm short on photos for this post due to my nerves and general distraction which kept me from focusing on taking snaps. Such a shame that I missed out on recording all the lovely faces who braved the rain to come and see the rainbow. Thanks to everyone who came down to support and special thanks to Luisa Gerstein's choir "Deep Throat" for their heavenly voices that filled the gallery and thanks to Pomp De Franc for the ceremonial canapés!! Ive collated lots of tagged instagram photos over on my Tumblr to see more.

Thurs 13th Feb: "Travelling Mac Fred On a Q-Tip For A Tribe Called Guess" at KKOutlet
Here are photos from my first solo show which is a retrospective exhibition entwined with new work to tie it all together, curated by Ryan Lanji. I collaborated with Walter Hugo & Zoniel on portraits of imaginary prophets which we displayed in shrines decorated by pieces of my archive. The frames were individually designed and built in collaboration with Install Archive and finally finished off with flowers by The Flower Appreciation Society. Claude D'Avoine compiled a beautiful spectrum exhibition guide like a map to navigate the space and Todd Hart mixed a special soundtrack of Afrobeats the set the mood with sound. Its open till the Feb 27th so please take a look and have a peep at the shop section where some of my samples are for sale! I have written to story to explain the mythology that I invented as the narrative and Tom Ryling kindly penned a forward to introduce the experience............... Full Details here.

Thurs 13th Feb: #DALSTONSCREENTESTS at Dalston Superstore & Stunt Dolly
Here are curators Ryan Lanji & Saskia Wickins at the first part of their duel site show "Dalston Screetests". In true Warhol style, the films were projected in large psychedelic vignettes on the walls of the hair salon where the subjects had their hair done for the sitting. Second stop on the private view safari was up the Kingsland Road to Dalston Superstore where screen-prints from the films are hung in the venue. The portraits pulled by Cassandra Yap, are made with a mix of ink including mine which has glow-in-the- dark pigment and Thanasis's which has silver sparkle dust. The show runs from February 12th - May 11th between both destinations of Dalston Superstore & Stunt Dolly. If you're not a Dalston local, you can watch the films here .
