Tuesday 12th April: Berlin Half Marathon 2016

As my birthday falls on the weekend of the Berlin Half marathon I made it a chance to have a holiday break and incredibly the sun shone like Summer the whole weekend!  The race was beautiful and we made best use of the remaining time for sight-seeing .......... including spotting red squirrels and a woodpecker in a forest!  I also discovered two cosmic eaterys  1)  a restaurant overlooking the zoo so you see orangutans from your table 2)  a rooftop bar on the top of a multi-storey carpark with amazing sunset views of the city's skyline.

Thanks so much to the Berlin Braves running crew for being excellent hosts and putting on another epic "Bridge The Gap" event.
